Sustainability
We're a small studio in the Midwest, so rather than a list of promises, here are three things about how our pieces are made that we can stand behind.
Printed to order
Nothing is printed until someone orders it. There's no warehouse of stock waiting to be sold, and no unsold pieces to throw away. Our printers run for real orders, in the colour the customer chose.
Plant-based PLA
Every piece is printed in PLA, a plastic made from plants such as corn starch or sugarcane rather than from petroleum. It's rigid and holds up to everyday use indoors; keep it away from long direct sun and from heat above 140°F (60°C).
Only the material the piece needs
3D printing builds each piece up layer by layer, so material goes where the design needs it, instead of being carved or cut away from a larger block.
